“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”

About Ryan

Past traumatic experiences can be difficult to carry, and many of us face experiences that continue to affect us long after they happen. Have past experiences or trauma made it difficult for you to move forward or create the future you want?

Hi, I’m Ryan. My work focuses on helping youth and adults process past experiences, overcome challenges, and move toward a healthier, more hopeful future.

Together, we’ll explore how past experiences have shaped the way you think and feel, while building practical tools you can use in everyday life to feel more in control and move forward.

You don’t have to figure everything out all at once. In our work together, we’ll look at the beliefs, reactions, and patterns that may have developed from difficult experiences, while finding healthier ways to respond to them. The goal is to help you better understand yourself, feel more confident in how you handle challenges, and leave sessions with strategies you can continue practicing in your daily life.

My background in mental health includes inpatient, residential, community-based care, therapy, and research, which has given me the opportunity to work with people facing a wide range of challenges.  I try to bring warmth, curiosity, and understanding into each session, creating a space where you can feel heard, supported, and comfortable being yourself.

If you’re ready to better understand yourself  and start creating a meaningful change, I’d be honored to support you along the way. You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting. We can take it one step at a time, together.
