Information and Other Payment Options

Here at Grace Therapy and Wellness Center, it is important to us to make therapy accessible to anyone that wants it. We don’t think therapy should be a luxury only the rich can afford, or a last resort when all else fails. This is why we make the effort to be credentialed with as many insurance companies as possible, offer virtual therapy, and are licensed in IL, WI, and FL.

We want you to worry only about your reasons for coming to therapy and your relationship with your chosen therapist, so once you start services with us, we take care of insurance submissions and billing. Your insurance company sets your fees, pays us, and tells us what to charge you for services. Our billing company ([email protected]) is happy to answer any questions you may have about the insurance and billing processes, and will provide you with an insurance benefits check. We utilize trauma-informed billing practices, notifying clients if they owe more than $150 before charging your card.

We also encourage you to check with your employer, if you have one, about potential Employee Assistance Benefits (EAP) available to you that could provide a number of free therapy sessions.

No Insurance?

If you do not have active health insurance, you are welcome to pursue sliding‑scale services with any of our qualified clinicians. Our clinicians‑in‑training also offer therapy at a lower cost than our traditional sliding scale, which begins at $90 per session for pre‑licensed and licensed clinicians. Please select “Sliding Scale” on our contact form if you would like more information about our reduced‑rate options.

Self Pay or Out of Network?

GTWC clinicians offer out‑of‑pocket therapy services at a rate of $175 for initial intake sessions and $150 for each 60‑minute therapy session. While we are in‑network with select insurance plans, many clients receive partial reimbursement from other insurance carriers for out‑of‑network behavioral health services. If you plan to use out‑of‑network benefits, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider to confirm your coverage and reimbursement rates. Session fees must be paid in full at the time of service. For out‑of‑network clients, we can provide a weekly superbill, which you may submit directly to your insurance carrier for potential reimbursement. Our Non‑Profit practice is home to an exceptional team of clinicians‑in‑training who provide high‑quality, professionally supervised therapy. They offer a lower sliding‑scale fee of $10–$80 per session, determined by your reported household income and number of dependents. Anyone is welcome to work with our clinicians‑in‑training. They also accept insurance, including BCBS PPO, Cigna/Evernorth PPO, and Medicaid plans such as BCBS Community, CountyCare, Meridian, and Molina.
