About Amanda

I’m Amanda, a graduate student at DePaul University pursuing my master’s in
Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a queer individual, I am passionate about creating a
therapeutic space that is free of shame and grounded in authenticity, joy, and self-expression.

My approach is eclectic, empathetic, and collaborative. I draw from a variety of therapeutic
techniques to meet each client where they are, tailoring the work to their unique needs. I believe
healing is rooted in connection—whether with ourselves, with others, with community, or with
nature. As a lifelong artist and dancer, I honor the wisdom of the body and recognize that our
stories live not only in our minds but also in our physical selves.

I work with individuals and couples who want to explore their identities, relationships, gender,
and sexuality. I understand how deeply our lived experiences shape us, and I strive to create a
space where you feel truly seen, supported, and celebrated. Above all, I believe therapy should
be a flexible and honest collaboration. It would be my honor to work with you, wherever you are
on your journey.
