“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
Mary Oliver
Even strong, high-functioning couples can find themselves stuck in the same arguments or feeling increasingly disconnected. Career pressure, stress, and life transitions can make it harder to communicate clearly or feel like you’re on the same team. Whether you’re preparing for marriage or navigating ongoing conflict, you may be looking for a stronger foundation together.
I specialize in helping couples communicate more effectively, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and Attachment Theory, we slow reactive cycles, understand the patterns beneath conflict, and build practical skills for emotional safety and lasting change.
I often work with high-achieving, driven partners who care deeply about their relationship but find themselves stuck in recurring conflict or emotional distance. I help couples communicate clearly, repair quickly, and create a relationship that feels secure, intentional, and aligned with their shared values.
My identities and experiences as a multiracial, queer woman and professional musician inform my perspective and the way I hold space for clients. I bring warmth, curiosity, and cultural humility to the therapeutic relationship, and I deeply value the courage it takes to step into therapy.
I hold previous music degrees from Northwestern University and the Cleveland Institute of Music. In my free time, I enjoy video games, playing with my dog Barry, and enjoying the wonderful city of Chicago with my partner.
