As a therapist, I am a companion. I try to help people tune into their own wisdom.
— Virginia Satir

Do you often feel alone and misunderstood, and like systems are working against you? I specialize in working with BIPOC families and couples, as well as First Generation identified individuals who struggle with culture clash, language barriers and family conflict. I want to help unearth the parts of you that have gotten lost in the noise of day-to-day life in this country and in your household.

I am passionate about assisting families and couples in building healthy and thriving relationships. Since every human is unique, I approach therapy with an open mind and a non-judgmental stance. My goal is to facilitate effective communication, enhance understanding, and provide evidence-based tools for resolving conflicts and improving overall relationship satisfaction.

In therapy I provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your emotions, build resilience, and develop effective coping strategies. I believe in empowering individuals to discover their strengths and reach their full potential, while also addressing concerns related to self-esteem, identity, academic stress, peer relationships, and family dynamics. I utilize a systems approach to therapy by taking into consideration the context in which you live.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Couple and Family Therapy from Adler University, as well as additional training in Gottman Couple Therapy Level 1. My supervisor is Samantha Arroyo, LCPC.
