Caitlin Woodstock
Would you like to explore your identity and reach your full potential as a member of your community, family, and in relationships?
Through a client centered and collaborative lens, I will share my passion for creative healing while supporting you on your path toward mending internal wounds and maladaptive beliefs. I believe that human beings are born to create, and we express this through a myriad of roles including: parent, child, sibling, colleague, partner, artist, and friend.
I am a Masterβs Level Counselor and Art Therapist. I received my MA and specialized training in art therapy from Lesley University and have over ten years of experience in human services. I have had the privilege of working with diverse groups including: Latin American migrant families, children and adults on the Autism spectrum, adults with developmental disabilities, families touched by adoption/foster care systems, and children, families and teens working through experiences of violence, abuse, and trauma. I am LGBTQIA affirming. Providing culturally competent care and allowing your strengths to guide the work are integral pieces of my practice. As an international adoptee born in Colombia and raised in a mixed-race family, I hold a unique understanding of families seeking to heal attachment issues, grief, and blending of culture.
Through therapeutic drawing, painting, storytelling, and applied arts, I will support you in creatively exploring your personal story, internal beliefs, and their influence on your perception of your world. I look forward to hearing from you, and validate you taking the first step on your path the healing we will co-create together!
