"You break free when you feel neither beneath anyone nor superior to anyone, when you shed the need to control other people, when you create space for others to be who they are and for your real self to be what it is."
Deepak Chopra
Do you ever feel like you have to pretend to be someone else to be accepted, and feel like you’re losing yourself in the process? Have you been feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed by societal expectations, or burnt out in your relationships?
If so, just know you’re not alone.
I empower young adults, black women, and neurodivergent folks to reclaim their voice in an unaccommodating, chaotic world. I offer a space for my clients to feel more grounded and equipped to handle life’s daily challenges. We’ll work together to challenge limiting beliefs, process heavy emotions, and accept what you cannot change. Through this work, you’ll gain more courage to express your true self and deepen your relationships.
As a systemic therapist, I pay special attention to your social identities and how they impact your relationships. Based on your specific contexts, I personalize my therapeutic approach to meet your unique needs.
While obtaining my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University over the last two years, I have had the privilege of helping individuals, couples, and families break free from vicious cycles. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy reading, creating music, and annoying my friends and family.
If you’re ready to rediscover yourself and transform your relationships, I’d be honored to support you. Please reach out to me via email or phone if you’re interested in learning more about my practice or booking a session, and I will respond promptly with times to connect over the next week. Thank you!
