Dr. Jason Baksas (He, Him)
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Board‑Certified Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP‑BC)
As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I specialize in psychotherapy, medication management, and trauma-informed care. I know how difficult it can feel to seek help, which is why I focus on creating a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space where you can share openly and feel supported.
I bring over 12 years of experience in mental health care, ranging from inpatient psychiatry to leadership and advanced practice. This background allows me to combine clinical expertise with a compassionate, personalized approach. My goal is not only to help you manage symptoms but also to support lasting growth, resilience, and healing.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or complex life transitions, I tailor treatment to your needs—integrating therapy and medication management when helpful. Together, we’ll work toward building stability, improving quality of life, and strengthening the skills you need to move forward with confidence and hope.
Dr. Jason sees clients virtually. He currently accepts self-pay clients, and BCBS PPO and Aetna PPO Insurance. He will soon be in network with the Medicaid MCO plans BCBS Community, Molina, Meridian, and CountyCare.

Sharmeka White-Peck
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Sharmeka is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) providing psychiatric medication management for children (ages 8+), adolescents, and adults. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from DePaul University and her Post-Master’s Certificate in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program from Chamberlain University.
Sharmeka approaches care with compassion, cultural awareness, and a commitment to helping clients feel heard and respected throughout the treatment process. Using comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evidence-based medication management, she partners with clients to identify treatment options that reflect their individual needs and goals. Her background in corrections and community behavioral health has given her experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other psychiatric conditions across both high-acuity and community settings.
Sharmeka believes clients should feel informed and empowered when making decisions about their mental health care. Whether medication is the missing piece of the puzzle or one component of a larger treatment plan, she works to create a supportive environment where clients can feel confident in the path forward.
Sharmeka sees clients virtually. She is in network with Aetna and United, and also accepts out-of-pocket (self-pay) clients. Network approval with BCBS PPO and Cigna is pending.
