To live in this world you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal; to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go.
Mary Oliver
I work with adults and teens who are struggling to find balance, struggling to find themselves, and/or struggling to feel in control of their own life – individuals who want to build a life that feels truly worth living, but are feeling stuck or lost on how to do so. I believe in an innate human desire and potential to heal, even in the face of great barriers, when one has the resources, support, and safety to do so.
Our time together will be spent working collaboratively to strengthen your sense of self, explore ways of navigating life on life’s terms, and take action towards goals that help you move from “surviving” to “thriving”. My therapeutic approach draws primarily from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based therapies. I’m here to walk with you on your journey by offering an authentic, trauma-informed, sex-positive, and non-judgmental space for meaningful growth and healing. Starting therapy can seem daunting, so I encourage you to reach out with any questions or schedule a free 15 minute consultation with me to start the journey!
