As a couple and family therapist, I am interested in learning more about your challenges from a systemic and relational framework. Approaching these from an antiracist lens, we will work collaboratively to uncover some of the contexts in which you may have learned to relate to others, and how your own family of origin stories continue to shape how you communicate and work through conflict within your relationships. Through this work, we will begin to understand where these issues may be rooted, in order for you to unlearn them and create transformative awareness and the courage to change them.
During our sessions, I will invite you to actively lead us and will fully support you without judgment through this exploration. I am committed to facilitating a climate where you feel safe, seen, and accepted. I am skilled at working with couples and families experiencing anxiety, relational conflict, communication and trust issues, emotional regulation, life transitions, co-parenting, divorce, and family of origin trauma. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, and enjoy working with couples, adolescents aged 6-12, teens and families of all formations. I am supervised by Brittney Brooks, LMFT.
As a husband and a father, I understand some of the unique lived experiences you may be going through, and as we all change and transition into new seasons of our relationships, I truly believe that no one is meant to go through it in isolation.
