About Zac

People carry many stories with them: who they have to be, what a relationship is supposed to look like, and what strength means. These stories were handed down to us long before we had any say. Our work together is to notice these stories, ask where they came from, and decide which are actually yours to keep. So much of what we carry gets healed in connection, not despite it. That is why I place such an emphasis on the relationship between us. You don’t have to figure it all out at once or have all the right answers. We can take it one step at a time, get curious about your experience, and build understanding as we go, together.

Hi, I’m Zac. My approach to the therapeutic space is client-centered, collaborative, and grounded in connection. I am passionate about supporting the unique experiences of LGBTQIA+ individuals, as well as clients navigating relationships, life transitions, and men’s mental health. I draw on Narrative Therapy, Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you gain enough distance from the problem to see it clearly and respond to it in your own terms. Our work together is about bringing you back into your own life; spending less time fighting your thoughts and more time acting on what matters to you.

I bring a warm, compassionate, curious, and understanding mindset to our sessions, creating a safe space for you to feel heard, supported, honest, not judged, and comfortable. My goal is to meet you where you are, sit with you when life feels heavy, and support you when you are ready to take the next step forward. Therapy is not about fixing you; it is about helping you rewrite the parts of your story that were never really working, so you can keep living the parts that are. I would be honored to support you along your journey.
