Do you ever feel like you’re on top of the world one day, and then completely lost and unsure of yourself the next? Are you unsure of what direction to take in life and with your healing? All of these things can feel overwhelming- which is where I come in as a therapist to provide grounding and organization to your thoughts so we can move forward together towards your goals.
My passion for storytelling and the human experience started on stage, acting and performing in Chicago. As a relational therapist, I want to break down all the narratives, rules, and rigid patterns you’ve adhered to because of societal and familial messaging, and help you give yourself permission to claim the relationships that you truly want. We will be open and curious about you and your partner(s) so that we can create a new intimacy and bond based on your actual values and desires. I aim to understand your relational dynamics and call out unhelpful cycles.
I specialize in working with couples and individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and perinatal or postpartum issues. I take a narrative and strengths-based approach, helping individuals and couples reclaim their stories and feel empowered to live authentically. With a background in HR, I specialize in helping you with strategies to advocate for yourself in the workplace and manage stress that are based on research and teachable skills. Together, we will build trust and empathy in our therapeutic relationship and hopefully even share some laughs!
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Theater from Loyola University Chicago and a Masters in Couples and Family Therapy from Adler University. My supervisor is the practice founder, Grace Martin, LMFT and AAMFT Approved supervisor.
