Steph Tabor (she/her)

Licensed Professional Counselor & Art Therapist

“Are you feeling frustration and sadness in your life or relationships, and desiring of creative and mindfulness practices to help you through?”

Steph sees clients in Oak Park and Virtually

I believe all beings deserve compassion, respect, and lovingkindness. Together, we can develop those practices within yourself, your relationships, and your community. My approach to working with individuals and families is centered on an affirming, supportive, exploratory relationship where we work together to heal, better understand yourself, and develop positive changes. I believe in using person-centered, holistic, evidence-based techniques to work alongside clients as they navigate challenges and strive towards change.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist with specialized training in trauma-informed care. I have had the honor of working with individuals, children, and families using art-making, movement, and talk-therapy to help clients better understand themselves and one another. My supervisor is Elana Thomas, LCSW.

Together, we can create a space of mutual respect, safety, curiosity, and openness where a meaningful exploration of your identity, experiences, and desires can occur. I am passionate about using creativity, mindfulness, and storytelling with individuals and families to help support and explore their unique perspectives, identities, and relationships.

Welcome, and thank you for taking this first step. I am grateful you’re here.
