Seeking therapy takes courage, congrats on taking the first step! I am here to help you connect with your body and mind to uncover deeper insights and foster your personal growth using a trauma-informed, somatic, and decolonial lens. As a committed advocate for sexual health education and inclusion, I specialize in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities, and those exploring kink, as they navigate trauma, anxiety, identity crises, race-based stress, and relationship challenges.
I utilize Gestalt therapy, a humanistic therapy style grounded in awareness, to help clients struggling to live in the “here and now”. In our sessions, we will collaboratively explore the factors hindering your ability to be present and address the associated challenges of navigating oppressive systems. My goal is to help you cope with challenging life transitions by cultivating greater mind-body awareness and supporting your cultural, lifestyle, and spiritual beliefs. Together, we can foster self-awareness and create lasting change. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at Northeastern Illinois University and am supervised by Brittney Brooks LMFT.
